Are You Telling Stories?
We all love a good story! And all of us, if we think about it, have great stories to tell about how our products & services have helped others.
Stories of user experiences, for example, are important because they are specific and convincing. They give proof that you have ‘been there and done it’ and, importantly, are more memorable.
You can start by saying, ‘Let me give you an example of how we helped one of our customers who had a similar problem. They wanted to ...’
Stories need to be relevant and told concisely with sufficient detail of the situation and what you did to solve their problem to be convincing.
Suggestion: Think of stories you can tell in 60 seconds and share them with your colleagues.
