What are your colleagues saying?
Have you ever thought what your colleagues are saying when they present your company to customers, prospects or other people? Do they articulate your '60 second' value proposition clearly and concisely, or do they deliver their own ‘interpretation’ and possibly lose you business in the process?
If you check this out, don’t be too surprised by the responses you will hear. Most people think they ‘know it’ because it's ‘obvious isn’t it’ – but is it?
Share and debate your company’s value proposition with your colleagues. Once agreed, get the team to role play and present it back. What does it sound like? Can they say it with confidence? Would you get excited if you heard it wearing your prospects' shoes?
